I have a JD350C Crawler loader on the farm. The left track only holds tension for about an hour. It pumps right up and holds when the machine is at rest, but when moving, the grees leaks out the cylinder at the rod. I assume there must be some sort of greese seal in the cylinder that is leaking. It looks straight forward to remove the cylinder but it also appears the rod needs to be removed also. Any trick to replacing this seal and/or is there something else causing the problem?. Any help would be appreciated.

thanx

The whole work's will have to come out, or you risk damaging the seal when reassy. ....
